Our streamlined product portfolio removes overlap and introduces a unified naming structure across PCs, Displays, Peripherals, and Services, offering you a more intuitive shopping experience.

A: We’re streamlining our product tiering to be consistent and intuitive across the entire client solutions portfolio:

  • Dell & Dell Pro: Essential systems offering a balanced mix of features and reliability, making it a great choice for everyone.
  • Dell Plus & Dell Pro Plus: Most scalable performance.
  • Dell Premium & Dell Pro Premium: Most mobile and designed forward.

A: Based on the extensive research we’ve conducted, customers have asked that we continue to differentiate between our desktops. We will use industry standard form factor naming and use Plus tiering as necessary to clearly distinguish between configurations, like Dell Pro Tower and Dell Slim Plus. In summary, you still get the great innovative products you expect from Dell, but now with an easier way to shop and buy. 
A: The use of 'Pro' in product naming is a common practice across the PC industry, as seen with Microsoft Windows, AMD Ryzen, and Intel vPro. At Dell, however, 'Pro' is not just a label —it represents a commitment to delivering professional-grade productivity, performance, and reliability. Unlike some competitors, where 'Pro' can vary in meaning across products, Dell ensures consistency in its use of 'Pro,' setting clear expectations for our customers and reinforcing the quality and innovation they can count on in every Dell Pro product.
